Major Dairy Industry Events Held in Hebei

The 11th China Dairy Conference and 2020 China Dairy Exhibition were held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei on Oct. 12. Chief Livestock Officer of MARA Ma Youxiang attended the conference and delivered a speech.

The conference emphasized the importance of implementing the Guidelines of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Development of Dairy Industry and Guaranteeing Dairy Product Quality and Safety. With the goal of expanding the supply of green, high-quality and safe dairy products, the conference encouraged greater efforts to enhance comprehensive production capacity, improve the industrial structure and product mix, beef up competitiveness and popularity of domestic dairy products, and upgrade the industrial chain modernization, so as to help shape a new development pattern featuring dual circulation, which takes domestic market as the mainstay while letting domestic and foreign markets boost each other, and vigorously promote the overall development of dairy industry.

The theme of the conference was “Drinking Milk in a Scientific Manner, Pursuing Quality Consumption, Implementing the Healthy China Initiative and Building a Moderately Prosperous Society.” The conference demonstrated the achievements of China’s dairy industry and showcased advanced technologies, facilities, equipment and products of dairy companies. Besides, several forums were also held concurrently, covering a broad spectrum of topics including genetic improvement of dairy cows, new dairy equipment technologies, healthy consumption of dairy products, and so forth.
